(More customer reviews)I have the Thule 830 system for my Pilot. I had one Pelican 100, and an Old Town Otter XT that fit beautifully on top without this product. The Pelican's hull was square and balanced on the roof allowing me to put the Otter up there. I got rid of the Pelican, and purchased a second Otter. The Otter has a rounded hull, and didn't balance on the roof. This product fit my factory crossbars, and allowed me to throw the first Otter up there, and hold it in place while i put the second one up there. A definite lifesaver. It took a hard two person job and turned it into an easy one person job. Highly recommended if this is your application.
*Note, my foam pads are gray, and not brown as shown. Straps were the same color as shown.
